When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Embedded content from other websites

Google User Data & API Services
Data We Access Through Google
crmSeries integrates with Google APIs to provide CRM functionality. When you connect your Google account, we request access to the following, only after you explicitly grant permission via Google’s OAuth consent screen:
- Gmail API: to read incoming messages / send emails on your behalf / provide a composer to send emails to contacts / sync email threads to CRM. This may include email content, headers, sender/recipient addresses, and attachments.
- Google Calendar API: to read, create, and/or update calendar events tied to CRM activities. This may include event titles, descriptions, attendee lists, and dates/times.
We request only the scopes necessary to provide the features you use, and we do not request broader access “just in case.”
How We Protect This Data
We take the following measures to protect Google user data:
- Encryption in transit: All data exchanged between crmSeries and Google’s APIs is transmitted over TLS/HTTPS.
- Encryption at rest: Google user data stored in our database is encrypted at rest.
- Access controls: Access to stored Gmail and Calendar data is restricted to authorized crmSeries personnel and systems on a need-to-know basis, and is logged.
- No advertising use: We do not use Google user data to serve ads, and we do not sell Google user data to third parties or data brokers.
- No AI/ML training: We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, in accordance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy.
- Limited sharing: We do not share Google user data with third parties except: (a) with your explicit consent, (b) to comply with the law, or (c) with service providers who process it strictly on our behalf to operate crmSeries (e.g., hosting infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations.
Compliance with Google’s Limited Use Policy
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Retention & Deletion
- Gmail and Calendar data synced into crmSeries is retained only for as long as your account is active and the integration remains connected, or as otherwise described in the “How long we retain your data” section above.
- You may disconnect your Google account at any time from My Profile – Email Management. Upon disconnection, we will delete previously synced Gmail and Calendar data within 24 hours, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes.
- You can also revoke crmSeries access directly through your Google Account permissions page at any time.
Your Rights
In addition to the rights described elsewhere in this policy, you may request:
- A copy of the Google-derived data we hold about you.
- Deletion of Google-derived data, independent of deleting your crmSeries account.
Requests can be made by contacting us at support@crmseries.com
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
