DocuSign Integration
Prior to connecting crmSeries to DocuSign, you must have a DocuSign account.
Connecting to DocuSign
As a crmSeries Administrator, select your name in the upper right of crmSeries, and select System Administration option. Select Output Templates, DocuSign Configuration.

Check the Status of the DocuSign Link. If unlinked, select the Link Button. To Unlink, select the Linked button.

Adding a DocuSign Template to crmSeries
- From the DocuSign Configuration form in crmSeries, select the Templates tab.

- Select The Add Button.
- Complete the Add Template options.
- DocuSign Template: Select a DocuSign template from the list. NOTE: The template must be uploaded to DocuSign first,
- Name: Enter a name for the template.
- Description: Enter a description for the template.
- Record Type: Select a Record Type from the list.
- Inventory Request: Template is associated with a crmSeries Inventory Request.
- Sales Quote: Template is associated with a Sales Quote.
- Sales Quote Equipment: Template is associated with the machines associated with a Sales Quote.
- Assigned Criteria: Define the criteria that the template will be used with.
- Active: Sets the Template as Active.
- Use Local Output: Check if using a crmSeries template that will be overlayed onto the selected DocuSign template.
- Local Template: Select the crmSeries template to use as the local output from the template list.
- Composite Email: Select from the available emails in the list. NOTE: Composite Emails can be customized under the Email tab and are used when grouping multiple DocuSign documents with one email.
- Select Save Template button
Mapping DocuSign templet to crmSeries Fields
- From the DocuSign Configuration form in crmSeries, select the Template tab.

- Select the number link under the Fields column for the template row needing to map.
- From the Field list, double click the row to map.

- Mapping: Select the crmSeries field(s) to map to the DocuSign field.
- Calculation: Select if the fields selected will be used to calculate a value.
- Data Type: Select the field data type.
- Numeric: Data type represents a number.
- Text: Data type represents a text string value.
- Output Format: Output value formatting type (Only applied if Text Data Type Selected).
- None: No Formatting
- Currency: US and Canadian Dollar formatting
- Percent: Percent Formatting
- Select Save Mapping button
Adding Composite Email
Composite emails can be used to substitute the DocuSign email with an email template in crmSeries. Follow the steps below to create a new composite email.
- Select the Record Type
- Inventory Request: Email is associated with a crmSeries Inventory Request.
- Sales Quote: Email is associated with a Sales Quote.
- Sales Quote Equipment: Email is associated with the machines associated with a Sales Quote.
- Subject: Manually enter an email subject and or select fields to auto populate into the subject.
- Message: Manually enter an email message and or select fields to auto populate into the message.
- Priority: Sequence the emails in the composite email list.
- Select Save Email button.
