Undercarriage Dashboard

Organize machine undercarriage measurements using the crmSeries Product Support Undercarriage Dashboard. The Undercarriage Dashboard can be accessed by following the steps below.

  1. Select My Business, Product Support, Undercarriage Wear.
  2. Filter the undercarriage measurements that appear on the dashboard by selecting the filter control, upper left.
    1. My Readings – List the undercarriage measurements that were entered within the date range selected by the logged in user.
    2. All Readings – List all undercarriage measurements within the date range selected.
    3. Search Readings – Opens a Search Parameter form to filter by specific values.
  3. The Undercarriage Dashboard will open listing the undercarriage measurements based on the filter selection.
  4. Additional filtering and selection options are available on the dashboard.

    1. Pancake menu can be selection actions are available.
      1. Public View – Opens the Undercarriage Measurement in a publicly available portal.
      2. Edit – Abilit to open the Undercarriage Measurement in Edit mode.
      3. Delete – Delete the Undercarriage Measurement. NOTE: If you do not have the Delete option, you do not have edit rights.
      4. Email – Email the Undercarriage Measurement.
      5. Download Reading – Download the Undercarriage Measurement in a pdf format.
    2. Select the Triangle control to expand the Undercarriage Measurement and view additional details.
    3. Select a Column Header to sort by the column.
    4. Select the Upside Triangle to the right of each column for additional filtering.
    5. Select the links under the columns to navigate to the record.
      1. Reading Date – Navigate to the Undercarriage Measurement and open in View Mode.
      2. Company – Navigate to the Company Record.
      3. Equipment – Navigate to the Equipment Record.
    6. Select Actions (upper Right) to Export to Excel.

Adding Undercarriage Measurement

Follow the steps below to add a new undercarriage measurement.

  1. From the Equipment record, select Actions, UC Measurement.

  2. Enter the Required Information. NOTE: If an undercarriage wear profile is unavailable for a specific model, select the blue Data Support button to send a request to crmSeries to help fine available OEM undercarriage specs.

    1. Reading Date – Date the Undercarriage was measured. NOTE: The date defaults to the current date. To change the date, select the calendar control.
    2. Reading Hours – The hours of the machine when measured. NOTE: The hours must be greater than 0.
    3. Wear Profile – The Undercarriage profile sets the undercarriage components new (0%) wear and the time to service (100%) wear criteria. Select the Change Wear Profile link to search for available profiles. NOTE: The wear profile will only need to be assigned the first time you measure a machines undercarriage or if you need to change the selected profile.

    4. Select Yes at the prompt to change the Undercarriage Wear Profile. Select No to exit and not replace the profile. NOTE: If this is the first undercarriage measurement for the machine, select Yes at the prompt.
  3. For each component that you measure, it is important to select the option and Method (Link Pitch does not require a Method selection). NOTE: Notice the Previous number in the blue box under the measurement control. If there was a previous measurement, the measurement would be shown. Notice the Min and Max numbers in the blue box under the Previous blue box. This is the wear range of the component; Min is 0% worn and Max is 100% worn.

    1. Option – The component option.
    2. Method – This is the tool or method used to measure the specific component.
    3. Measurement – Enter the measurement for the component. NOTE: After selecting the Option, Method, and entering the Measurement, tab out and the % Worn will auto calculate.
  4. Comments can be entered for each component.
  5. The Camera control can be selected to upload images associated with the component.
  6. Select Save at the upper left or the bottom of the form.
  7. Selecting a component from the component list at the left of the form will navigate to the component selected.
