Recurring Touch

Before the crmSeries Recurring Touch function can be implemented, two administration functions must first be established. NOTE: Only a crmSeries System Administration has the rights to define Company Ranks and Recurring Touch Profiles

  1. The Company Ranks must first be defined.
  2. Recurring Touch Profiles must also be defined.

Adding Company Rank

  1. Select Lookup Values, Company, Rank.

  2. Select the Add button to define a new Rank.

  3. Complete the Rank information.
    1. Rank – Name of the Rank.
    2. Role(s) – The crmSeries User Roles that can access the rank.
  4.  Select the Save button.

Editing Company Rank

  1. Select Lookup Values, Company, Rank.

  2. From the Rank List, double click on the row to edit or highlight the row and select the Edit button.

  3. Make the necessary modifications and select the Save button.

Adding a Recurring Touch Profile

  1. Select Users, Recurring Touch, Profiles.

  2. Select the Add button to define a new Recurring Touch Profile.

  3. Complete the Recurring Touch Profile information.

    1. Description – Description of the Recurring Touch Profile.
    2. Role – Select the Roles assigned to the Recurring Touch Profile.
    3. Value Type – What value will drive the Recurring Touch.
      1. Rank
    4. Complete Actions – What Action will trigger the Next Recurring Touch Date. NOTE: One of more options can be selected.
      1. Call – Entering a Call note will trigger the next Recurring Touch.
      2. Note – Entering a Note will trigger the next Recurring Touch.
      3. Sales Quote – Entering a Sales Quote will trigger the next Recurring Touch.
  4. Select the Save button.

Editing a Recurring Touch Profile

  1. Select Users, Recurring Touch, Profiles.

  2. From the Recurring Touch List, double click on the row to modify or highlight a row and select the Edit button.

  3. Make the necessary modifications and select the Save button.

Assigning Touches Per Year

  1. From the Recurring Touch Profile, select the Manage button for the row to assign the Touches Per Year.

  2. To Add a New Touch Per Year, Select the Add button.

  3. On the Touch Per Year panel enter the Touches Per Year.
    1. Rank – Select a Rank
    2. Touches – Enter the number of Touches Per Year.
  4. To Delete a Row from the Touches per Year, Select the Red X to the right of the row to delete.
  5. Select the Save button.

Assigning a Recurring Touch Profile to a Company

  1. From the Company form, Select Actions, Recurring Touch Profile.

  2. From the Recurring Touch Assignment prompt, enter the information.

    1. Rep – Select the Rep to Assign the Recurring Touch.
    2. Profile – Select a Recurring Touch Profile to assign.
    3. Override – Select to manually assign a Recurring Touch, Touches Per Year.
  3. Select Save Changes button.

Viewing Company Recurring Touches

  1. From the Company form, select the Recurring Touch Tab. NOTE: You may have to select the Additional tabs control to view hidden Company tabs.

Edit a Company Recurring Touch

  1. From the Company form, select the Recurring Touch Tab.

  2. Select the Pancake Menu to the left of the Recurring Touch Row to edit.

  3. Select Edit Assignment
  4. Make the necessary modifications and select the Save Changes button.

Assigning Company Rank

  1. From the Company form, select the Edit button.

  2. Modify the Company Rank. NOTE: Each User Role can be assigned a unique Rank.

  3. Select the Save button.
