Users

NOTE: The steps below assume you have System Admin rights. To access System Admin, select your name in the upper right of crmSeries and select System Admin. If you do not see System Admin, you do not have system administrator rights.

Adding a New User

  1. Select Users, Add User.

  2. Enter the User Information.

    1. First Name – Enter the first name of the User. This is a required entry.
    2. Last Name – Enter the last name of the user. This is a required entry.
    3. Email – Email of the user. This is a required entry.
    4. Title – Rep title.
    5. Department – Department the Rep is associated with.
    6. Cell # – Mobile number for the rep.
    7. Phone # – Alternate phone number for the rep.
    8. Fax # – Does anyone remember what this is?
  3. Select the Next button.
  4. Enter the Display Preferences.

    1. Country – Country associated with the rep.
    2. Language – Language associated with the rep.
    3. Time Zone – The time zone the rep works in.
    4. Search Type – Default search setting for the rep.
  5. Select the Next button.
  6. Enter the User Roles and Access.

    1. Roles – Select the user roles.
    2. Default Role – Select the reps default user role.
    3. Branches – Select the branches that are associated with the rep.
    4. Default Branch – Select the default branch.
    5. Record Access – Select the records that the rep can access.
    6. User Access – Select the users that the rep can access.
    7. User Type – Select a user type association for the rep.
    8. Add the sales code for the rep. NOTE: This is used to automate assigned records to the rep from the backend system.
  7. Select the Next button.
  8. Select the User Rights

    1. Select each right to assign to the rep. NOTE: If you have Right Presets available, select a preset from the list.
  9. Select the Submit button. Note: The user will receive an email inviting them to sign into crmSeries.

User Rights Preset

The user right preset is used to define pre-selected user rights. The User Right Preset can be selected under the reps rights tab.

  1. Select User, User Right Presets.

  2. Select the Add button.

  3. Enter a Preset Name.

  4. Select the Save icon.
  5. Double click on the Present name to open the available rights.

  6. Select the rights associated with the preset.
  7. Select the Save Rights button.
