Vehicle

Vehicles are added to crmSeries for tracking PM, Field Service, and miscellaneous Dealer owned vehicles. A vehicle must be added to crmSeries before it can be tracked.

Adding and Editing Vehicles

Follow the steps below to add or edit an existing vehicle.

  1. From the upper right of crmSeries, select your name, System Admin. NOTE: If you do not have the System Admin option, you do not have administrator rights.
  2. From the menu options at the left of the form, select Vehicles, Vehicle List.

  3. To add a new Vehicle, select the Add button and enter the vehicle information.  To modify a vehicle, select the Edit icon to the right of the vehicle to modify.

    1. Make – Make of the Vehicle
    2. Model – Model of the Vehicle.
    3. VIN – Vehicle Identification Number.
    4. Field Service Vehicle – Selecting this option will allow this vehicle to be selected under the crmSeries Field Service Module.
    5. PM Vehicle – Selecting this option will allow this vehicle to be selected when scheduling a PM in the crmSeries PM Module.
    6. Rate – Rate per Mile/Km for the vehicle. Primary used when including the vehicle on a Service Quote.
    7. Description (REQUIRED) – Short description for the vehicle.
  4. Select the Save button to save the Vehicle record.

Vehicle Assignments

Follow the steps below to assign a vehicle to one or more crmSeries Users.

  1. From the upper right of crmSeries, select your name, System Admin. NOTE: If you do not have the System Admin option, you do not have administrator rights.
  2. From the menu options at the left of the form, select Vehicles, Vehicle Assignments.

  3. Select a user in the user dropdown control.

  4. This will provide a list of available vehicles. To add the selected user to a vehicle, select the Edit icon (Pencil).
    1. Scheduler – The user is assigned to the vehicle for scheduling Field Service or PM Maintenance.
    2. Servicer – The user is assigned as an operator of the vehicle.
