Field Service

Equipment PM Setup

Before the preventative maintenance schedule of a machine can be tracked, the PM Schedule must first be setup. Follow the steps below to set a machines PM Schedule.

  1. From a machine record select Actions, PM Setup.
  2. Complete the PM Setup options in the PM Setup Panel.
    1. Profile – A profile is not required and is used to quickly select a profile and apply a predefined PM Interval schedule for the machine.
    2. PM Start Hours – The PM Start Hours will be defaulted to the last hours of the machine and can be manually adjusted.
    3. Initial Interval – PM interval that will only initially be set and not be included as a recurring PM interval.
    4. Hours Per Day – Set the estimated hours per day for this machine. Based on available machine history, the hours per day may be auto calculated.
    5. Interval Step Type – Determines how to calculate the next PM Interval after a PM Service has been completed.
      1. Round to the Nearest Interval – Schedules the next PM Service at the exact next Interval. As an example: If a 1000 Hour PM Interval was completed at 1057 Hours and the Next PM Internal is 1500, the Next PM will be scheduled for 1500 hours.
      2. Step from Last SMU Hours with Calculated Intervals – This option will automatically calculate the correct Interval based on the PM Intervals and the hours on the machine when a PM service is completed.
      3. Step from Last SMU Hours with Sequential Intervals – This option will tightly follow the PM Intervals regardless of the completed service interval.
    6. Continuous Service – Select this option to continue looping through the PM Intervals. Uncheck to stop tracking after completing the PM intervals.
    7. Fluid Sample Only – This will apply the PM schedule Interval for fluid sample only.
    8. Active – Check to set the PM tracking as active. Uncheck to stop tracking.
    9. Service Intervals – The PM intervals for this machine.
      1. Service Intervals can be added manually by select the Add button.
    10. Start Interval – Sets PM Interval that should be the first Interval.
      1. Auto – crmSeries will determine the first PM Interval.
    11. Select Save button to apply the PM Service Schedule.
    12. The PM Service will be listed under the Equipment Maintenance Tab.

Field Maintenance Dashboard

The Field Maintenance (PM) Dashboard is designed to manage every aspect of recurring preventative maintenance or one-off field maintenance. Access the PM Dashboard by following the steps below.

  1. Select My Business, Field Maintenance, Schedule.
  2. PM Dashboard Controls.
    1. Field Maintenance Schedule – Selection to quickly filter PMs.
      1. Scheduled Today – List PMs due today.
      2. Scheduled This Week – List PMs due the current week.
      3. Overdue – List Overdue PMs.
      4. Search – Opens a Search Panel for Custom Search Parameters.
        1. Select the Magnifying Glass icon to reopen the search panel.
      5. Set Default button – Saves the current search as the default search.

      6. Save View – Save the current search as a view that will be listed under the Fields Maintenance Schedule dropdown list.
    2. Select a View Type to Display the Field Service Records.

      1. List View – Displays the PM Search Result in a list format.
      2. Map View – Displays the PM Search Results on a map. NOTE: A location can manually be assigned to a machine however it is recommended to connect crmSeries to the manufacturer telematics.
    3. Actions

      1. Export to Excel – Export the PM search results to Microsoft Excel.
      2. Grid Setup – Customize the PM search results grid for the logged in crmSeries user.
      3. Save Defaults – Save the current PM search results format.
      4. Reset Defaults – Reset the current PM search results formatting to the original format.
    4. Select the Schedule Tab to view the current machines scheduled for field maintenance. Selecting a control under the Schedule Tab provides the following actions.
      1. Calendar – Adjust the scheduled Field Service machines.

      2. Quick Filter Button Control

        1. Today – Adjusts the scheduled Field Maintenance list to the current day.
        2. Timeline Day – Adjusts the Scheduled Date Range to a Day.
        3. Timeline Week – Adjusts the Scheduled Date Range to a Week.
        4. Service Route – Opens the scheduled machines on a map view to create a route to the machines.
