Inspections

Inspection Dashboard

Managing inspections using the crmSeries Dashboard is straightforward. The Inspection Dashboard can be accessed by following the steps below.

  1. From the crmSeries Menu Bar, select View, Inspections.
  2. The Inspection Dashboard View will open.
  3. The Inspections Filter Control can be used to quick filter the Inspection list.
    1. My Inspections – List Available Inspections for the logged in user based on Date Range Selected.
    2. All Inspections – List All Available Inspections based on Date Range Selected.
    3. Pending Trade Valuations – List Trade type Inspections for the Date Range Selected.
    4. Search Inspections – Opens a Detail Search Panel.
  4. Each Column Header of the Inspection Dashboard can be selected to Sort the inspections and the Upside-down Triangle to the right of each column can be selected to provide additional filtering.
  5. Additional functions are available by selecting the Pancake Menu under the Actions column.
    1. Edit Inspection – Open the Inspection in Edit Mode for the row selected.
    2. Delete Inspection – Delete the Inspection for the row selected.
    3. Email Inspection – Open an Email panel for the row selected.
    4. Download Public Inspection – Download a pdf document of the inspection for the row selected.
    5. Download Broker InspectionNOTE: This option is only available for Trade Inspections. Download a Broker version of a Trade Inspection for the row selected.

Adding New Inspection

Follow the steps below to add a new crmSeries machine inspection. NOTE: Inspection can also be added via the crmSeries mobile app.

  1. From an Equipment form, select Actions, Inspection. NOTE: If you do not see the Inspection Option under Actions, you do not have the rights to add an inspection. Contact your crmSeries administrator to add the right.

  2. In the open panel, select a Type and the Inspection.

  3. Enter the current hours of the machine that is being inspection. The inspection date is automatically set to the current date and can be changed by selecting the date icon.
  4. Enter the responses to the inspection question under each inspection group. NOTE: A list of Inspection Groups will appear to the left of the inspection. Selecting any Inspection Group will shift the focus to the group.
  5. The Camera icon can be selected to upload images stored on the workstation. NOTE: Required images will be noted by a red icon next to the inspection question.

  6. Select the Save button at the bottom or upper left of the Inspection form. NOTE: If the Inspection has required images that have not been assigned to the inspection, you will receive a required image message.

  7. A message prompt will appear allowing you to place the inspection on hold to complete later or set as complete. NOTE: Incomplete inspection can be found under the Inspection Dashboard. See the Inspection Dashboard section to learn how to edit an existing inspection.
