Vehicle
Vehicles are added to crmSeries for tracking PM, Field Service, and miscellaneous Dealer owned vehicles. A vehicle must be added to crmSeries before it can be tracked.
Adding and Editing Vehicles
Follow the steps below to add or edit an existing vehicle.
- From the upper right of crmSeries, select your name, System Admin. NOTE: If you do not have the System Admin option, you do not have administrator rights.
- From the menu options at the left of the form, select Vehicles, Vehicle List.
- To add a new Vehicle, select the Add button and enter the vehicle information. To modify a vehicle, select the Edit icon to the right of the vehicle to modify.
- Make – Make of the Vehicle
- Model – Model of the Vehicle.
- VIN – Vehicle Identification Number.
- Field Service Vehicle – Selecting this option will allow this vehicle to be selected under the crmSeries Field Service Module.
- PM Vehicle – Selecting this option will allow this vehicle to be selected when scheduling a PM in the crmSeries PM Module.
- Rate – Rate per Mile/Km for the vehicle. Primary used when including the vehicle on a Service Quote.
- Description (REQUIRED) – Short description for the vehicle.
- Select the Save button to save the Vehicle record.
Vehicle Assignments
Follow the steps below to assign a vehicle to one or more crmSeries Users.
- From the upper right of crmSeries, select your name, System Admin. NOTE: If you do not have the System Admin option, you do not have administrator rights.
- From the menu options at the left of the form, select Vehicles, Vehicle Assignments.
- Select a user in the user dropdown control.
- This will provide a list of available vehicles. To add the selected user to a vehicle, select the Edit icon (Pencil).
- Scheduler – The user is assigned to the vehicle for scheduling Field Service or PM Maintenance.
- Servicer – The user is assigned as an operator of the vehicle.
