Communication Manager

The crmSeries Communication Manager is used to automate the communication with users and active customers and prospects. The crmSeries Communication Manager is currently in BETA status.

Adding a New Stored Event

A stored event is where you define the actions that should trigger based on the data definition.

  1. Select Data Admin, Communication Manager, Dashboard. NOTE: The user will need System Administration rights to access the Communication Manager Dashboard.

  2. Select Stored Events Tab.

  3. Select Create New Stored Event button to add a new Event.

  4. Name the New Stored Event.

  5. Complete the Stored Event Items.

    1. Stored Event Active – Select to Activate the Stored Event.
    2. Category
    3. Description
    4. Module – Select a Module name from the list.
    5. Filter – Filter the Records for the Stored Event.
    6. Execution Options – Select is the execution fires when adding or updating records.
    7. Delivery Criteria – Select the Add button to indicate who should receive any notifications.
      1. User – Filter by one or more users from a list.
        1. User Criteria – Define the criteria for the notification user list.
      2. Email – Filter by email address.
      3. Notification Template
        1. Call – Setup a Call Task
        2. Email – Send an Email
        3. Notification Template – Select a Notification Template for the Notification Type Selected. NOTE: Notification Templates are setup under System Administration, Automation, Template Setup.
  6. Select Save button.
  7. NOTE: When ready to activate the Stored Event, set the Stored Event Active to On.
  8. Select the Yes button on the Confirm Action prompt.

  9. Select the Next Button.

  10. From the Mass Notification prompt select the desired action button.

    1. Return – Cancel and Return to the Stored Event screen.
    2. Save and Return -Save updates and return to the Stored Events.
    3. Skip These Entries – Do not take any actions on the listed records.
    4. Execute Delivery on Entries – Execute the Notification on the record list.
