Parts & Service Quote

Parts and service quotes can easily be created in crmSeries. Follow the steps below to add a parts and service quote. NOTE: You must have crmSeries parts quoting access rights in order to create parts quotes.

Parts Quote Dashboard

To access the parts and service quote dashboard, follow the steps below.

  1. Select My Business, Product Support, Parts and Service Quotes.
  2. The Dashboard can be filtered by selecting the Parts and Service Quotes dropdown list.

Adding Part & Service Quote

  1. Select Add, Parts and Service Quote.
  2. In the new parts quote panel enter the required information.
    1. Company – (Required) Search for the company that the parts quote is for.
    2. Contact – (Required) Select a contact from the list.
    3. Equipment – Select a machine that the parts quote is associated with.
    4. Existing Machine – Check this option if the machine that the quote is associated with is already in crmSeries. If you uncheck, you can quickly add the machine. This will associate the quote to the new machine and add the machine to the customer’s population.
    5. Sales Rep – Auto populates with the logged in user.
    6. Branch – (Required) – Select the branch that the quote is for.
  3. Select the Next button.
  4. Complete the information for the Part Quote Profile.
    1. Make – (Not Required) Select an available Make from the list. NOTE: This is not required however selecting a make, will focus all available parts configurations for the selected make.
    2. Model – (Not Required) Select an available Model from the list.
    3. Profile – (Not Required) Select an available profile from the list. Available profiles will be for the Make and Model selected.
    4. Sub-Profile – Select additional parts quote options.
    5. Group Name – (Required) Group name for the associated parts.
    6. Comments – Comments about the parts group.
  5. Select the Save button.
  6. The Parts Quote Sections will appear. NOTE: If you build the parts quote using a profile, most of the items that make up the parts quote should auto populate.
  7. For Each Parts Quote Section, Select the pancake menu (upper right of each section) to add items within the section.
    1. Parts
    2. Labor
    3. Vehicle Charges
    4. Additional Charges
    5. Discounts
  8. Select the Return button when completed.

Print Quote

Follow the steps below to print a parts quote. NOTE: The parts quote template must first be setup under system administration.

  1. From the parts quote select Actions, Build Output.

  2. In the print panel select the proper options.

    1. Category – Parts and Service Quote Category.
    2. Template – Select the proper parts template. NOTE: A dealer can setup multiple output templates.
    3. Archive Existing – Check if you want to save any prior outputs under template history.
  3. Select the Build button.
